The September 11 Digital Archive collects, preserves, and presents the history of the September 11, 2001 attacks. It is the leading digital repository of material related to the events of 9/11/2001 and includes more than 150,000 first-hand accounts, emails, images, and other digital materials. The first digital collection accessioned by the Library of Congress, the 9/11 Digital Archive has received a “Saving America’s Treasures” grant from the National Park Service and National Endowment for the Humanities. Initially funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
As Project Associate from 2002-2004, I managed the collections, served as public liaison, and provided administrative support.
